My Secure ISP provides a secure connection for your web browsing, instant messaging, wireless laptop, and web-based email.
When you connect to My Secure ISP, your connection cannot be snooped by hackers, advertisers, your internet provider, another wireless user, or your employer. |

My Secure ISP encrypts your web connection from your existing Internet provider. Don't cancel your DSL or your cable! We don't provide the physical connection to the internet, we just make your connection secure no matter where you are and what Internet provider you use. |

You can install the toolbar plugin on as many computers as you want, type in your user name and password and connect!

Probably not.
You should experience the same speed or better as your existing internet provider. You could actually experience a speed increase due to the caching done on our servers. We are constantly performing bandwidth tests on our servers to ensure the best performance possible.
So, depending on your connection you should see about the same performance as you do without My Secure ISP. |

YES!
When you are connected to My Secure ISP, your connection to the internet is encrypted from your machine to our servers. Anyone snooping your machine on the network will not be able to steal your passwords, credit card numbers, or other personal information by hacking your internet connection. |

| What is encryption? |
Encryption is a technique to scramble or encode text so that it cannot be read by someone who does not have a "key" to unlock the code. 95% of web traffic is unencrypted.
This makes it easy for hackers, snoopers, spammers,
and identity thieves to collect information about you. |

| Why isn't the entire Internet encrypted? |
The standard protocols that the web was built on were established before security was a serious concern.
Eventually, maybe all web sites will use the HTTPS protocol for all their web pages, but right now plain old HTTP is still the norm except for credit card payments and online bank sites. |

| Will the toolbar work on MAC or Linux? |
You CAN use My Secure ISP on MAC or Linux using the built in SSH client, however the toolbar plugin is not yet supported on those platforms. If you are using OSX or Linux email support and we will tell you how to connect to us on those platforms.
