Latest News: January 1, 2008 My Secure ISP replaces SSH with VPN!

My Secure ISP has discontinued its SSH secure proxy service in favor of a more complete VPN solution. Existing SSH customer subscriptions will be honored until the end of 2008. This change will benefit existing customers by allowing them to run more applications over the VPN than they previously could using the SSH-based My Secure ISP toolbar.

Additionally, users of different platforms such as the MAC OS and users of mobile device platforms such as Blackberry and iPhone will now be able to protect their internet usage while traveling using the new My Secure ISP VPN platform. The rollout date for this service will be midyear 2008.

The following email was sent out to annual subscribers on 12/22/2007 regarding the status of annual subscriptions.

Note that monthly subscribers will renew until the end of 2008.

Dear Annual Subscriber,

My Secure ISP is discontinuing its SSH proxy service starting in January 2009. As an annual subscriber your service WILL CONTINUE until the end date of your subscription in 2008.

This email is to alert you that you will be receiving an email from Paypal in the coming weeks regarding the cancellation of your subscription with My Secure ISP.

This cancellation DOES NOT affect your service and you will be able to access My Secure ISP until the end date of your current annual subscription.

The cancellation is necessary to prevent your subscription from renewing at the end of your subscription term since we will not be offering service into 2009.

We have enjoyed serving you and will be offering a new VPN service in 2009 offering even greater security, portability and ease of use for the same low price.

Thank you for your patronage and Happy Holidays from My Secure ISP.
